Mineral Forest Sneak Peek
Mineral Forest, my next fabric collection from Andover Fabrics, is due out in Spring 2014. A whole line inspired by rocks and minerals! The collection comes in 3 color combinations – pinks/oranges, mineral blues, and slate/brown. Many organic patterns to make into lots of cool products. Stay tuned!
Bolt Fabric Blog Spotlight
Take a look at this week’s Designer Spotlight on Bolt Fabric Boutique’s Blog to catch their interview with me. If you live in the Portland area and haven’t had a chance to check out their store, I highly recommend it. Gina Cadenasso has a great eye and stocks her gem of a shop with cutting edge prints.
RACC Quilt Acquisition
Today, Oregon’s Regional Arts and Culture Council purchased my wool quilt, entitled, Winter Eddy, for their Portable Works Collection! Each work in the collection hangs for 6 months to 5 years either in a City of Portland or a Multnomah County building where the public can enjoy it. Winter Eddy was inspired by watching water flow over river rocks during frequent hikes in the Columbia Gorge.
New Table Setting from Kyoto Garden Fabrics
Hot out of the studio today! A set of reversible placemats – Stone River print on the front, Peony print on the reverse – and Peony print napkins to match. Find them in my Etsy Shop! These fabrics have a wonderful hand and are really fun to play around with.
